The first section titled “Welcome to Wordpress” gives a few basic first links to get you going. The Write a Post link will take you directly to the post writing page. The Update your profile or change your password takes you to the personal profile page where you can edit your personal information and add some as necessary. It is recommended that you change your password at this stage to something a little more difficult, but easier to remember. The Add a link to your blogroll link will give you options for adding links to the sidebar of your blog. Change your site’s look or theme will allow you to choose from the default themes or themes you’ve uploaded. You’ll also be able to adjust the options for the theme, if any.
